It’s day 21 of the transfer window and that means it’s less than two weeks to go until it slams shut.

Leicester City have a lot of work to do in order to deem this a successful month of business and give Ruud van Nistelrooy and co the best chance of Premier League survival.

Woyo Coulibaly is still the only new signing Leicester have made this window and with some reports claiming that the Foxes want as many as five new players, they’re going to have to get their skates on.

It has gone relatively quiet on incomings to the King Power Stadium of late but as the clock ticks down, the rumour mill begins to ramp up a notch.

With that, here’s all of the latest transfer stories from Leicester City News.

Juventus interested in signing Thomas Kristensen & Lilian Brassier

Centre-backs appear to be one of the main targets for the Foxes this window – despite a plethora of options among their ranks.

Earlier this month a whole host of names were linked including Danish defender Thomas Kristensen and also on-loan Marseille centre-back Lilian Brassier.

It had gone quiet on that front of late, however, reports this week from Italy suggested that Juventus were keeping an eye on Kristensen and Brassier.

Brassier was also of interest to Villarreal but that link has gone cold and now Juventus are looking to swipe.

Kristensen is someone Leicester have admired for some time and allegedly held discussions with him after Tottenham Hotspur were also linked with a move.

Juve now seem ready to pounce and their interest could reignite Leicester’s appetite to bring the 6’6 giant to England.

Cesare Casadei set for Lazio move

Another Leicester-linked player seemingly heading to Italy is Cesare Casadei.

The former Inter Milan youngster, who played 22 times on loan at the Foxes last season before being recalled early is allowed to depart Chelsea after finding game time borderline impossible to achieve.

Lazio are the frontrunners for Casadei at this moment in time and it is believed that a deal of £10m plus add-ons will be enough to see him return to his native homeland.

Torino were also in competition to sign Casadei, as well as talks of a return to the King Power Stadium, but it seems the Rome-based outfit will get their man.
