Leicester City have made just one addition so far this transfer window.
Woyo Coulibaly has been Leicester’s only signing after completing a £3m switch from Serie A outfit Parma.
Coulibaly has been brought in to provide James Justin with competition at right-back, but so far, he’s only appeared off the bench.
Leicester have been exploring a deal to sign Alisson and even launched a £10m bid, but Atletico Mineiro took too long to respond to the offer which has seen the deal collapse.
AC Milan centre-back Strahinja Pavlovic has been linked to the Foxes but again, there’s been no progress made.
With that said, The Athletic’s Leicester reporter Rob Tanner has just shared some really unwanted transfer news.

Leicester unlikely to sign anyone on deadline day
According to Rob Tanner, Leicester are unlikely to make any signings today as PSR issues continue to take hold.
Tanner further claims, within the report, that Leicester do have funds to spend but they aren’t convinced it’s enough to improve the squad.
Ruud van Nistelrooy has made it clear he needs help this window and was assured of funds when he was in talks to replace Steve Cooper, so evidently there will be growing friction with the board.
Van Nistelrooy left PSV after feeling he hadn’t been backed in the window, with star player Cody Gakpo and Noni Madueke sold, so it wouldn’t at all be surprising if history repeats itself here.
Still a glimmer of transfer hope
It’s understood that whilst it’s unlikely a signing will be made, there is still a small chance an overseas loan could brought in.
City chiefs will continue to monitor proceedings throughout the day and if the opportunity presents itself, they will move to complete a deal.
Though, it would have to be right for the club on a financial basis as they’re very close to the PSR limit having outlaid £80m last summer.
A perhaps season-defining 24 hours lie ahead at Leicester.
