Leicester City are looking to get at least three more players through the door this summer.
The Foxes have had an active 2024 summer transfer window so far under new manager, Steve Cooper.
The former Nottingham Forest boss has been brought in as a replacement for now-Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca.
The Argentine guided Leicester City to Premier League promotion in 2023/24 but Cooper has been left with the unenviable task of preparing the Midlands outfit for a relegation battle.
Owner Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha has so far funded four first-team additions in the current window.
Abdul Fatawu, Micheal Golding, Bobby De Cordova-Reid and Caleb Okoli have all moved to the King Power on permanent deals.
However, further additions are expected to arrive at Leicester before deadline day on August 30th.
Leicester want to bring Arthur Melo back to the Premier League in the current window despite his ill-fated spell with Liverpool in 2022/23.
Chelsea striker David Fofan has been linked with the Foxes as well, with Cooper’s men said to be frontrunners in the race to sign the Ivorian on loan.

Leicester City want to make three more summer transfers
As they aim to build a squad strong enough to battle for promotion, it is clear Leicester have a few problem areas in their squad.
Jamie Vardy is injured and will miss the opening of the 2024/25 Premier League campaign, leaving Cooper short of quality options in the striker department.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has left the King Power to join Maresca at Stamford Bridge, which depleted Leicester’s midfield ranks.
Now, The Athletic have provided an insight into the positions Cooper wants to target during the rest of August.
18-year-old Golding joined the club over the summer but the midfielder is a signing for the future, with Leicester still wanting to replace Dewsbury-Hall and sign a new number 10.
Further forward, as was to be expected, Cooper wants to sign another quality striker for Leicester.

Who will Leicester City sign in remainder of 2024 transfer window
The Foxes have already been linked with a plethora of options who could fill the gaps in their squad at present.
In the striker department, former Manchester United forward Wought Weghorst has been linked with Leicester.
Ajax are also thought to be interested in the 31-year-old, who is a proven goalscorer all across Europe.
Elsewhere, Leicester bid for Jordan Ayew of Crystal Palace, with the ageing striker potentially available for a reduced fee this summer due to the fact the Eagles signed him for free and his contract runs out in 2025.
In terms of midfielders, the aforementioned Arthur could come in as a replacement for Dewsbury-Hall.
Leicester are considering a move for Amir Richardson as well after the Stade Reims midfielder impressed with Morrocco at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
There have been few natural number 10s linked with the newly promoted side this summer, but Cooper still has just over three weeks to get another signing through the door.
