Leicester City now have less than 24 hours to make any further additions to their squad on transfer deadline day.
The Foxes have endured a nightmare 2024/25 season so far, sacking Steve Cooper before continuing to flounder under his replacement.
Ruud van Nistelrooy has slumped to eight defeats in nine following a 4-0 hammering at the hands of Everton on Sunday.
Despite this continued dire form and slipping back into the relegation zone, Leicester City have signed just one player this winter.
Van Nistlerooy wanted four players after agreeing to replace Cooper in the dugout at the King Power Stadium.
But the Foxes now have less than a day to get a deal, or three, over the line to aid their survival push.

Leicester City plan for transfer deadline day
There is likely little hope from Leicester fans that anything will actually happen on Monday but more signings can’t be ruled out just yet.
Leicestershire Live have shared an update on the morning of February 3rd and it is somewhat good news for fans.
It is reported that a new winger will be the focus today following the long-term loss of Abdul Fatawu earlier in the season.
And much like they did in the previous window, Leicester will be hoping to pounce on a late deal that emerges in the final hours of the window.
However, PSR remains a concern and the club will only make a signing if it’s going to improve the squad.
There was also an update on exits, with Will Alves likely to be the only one today, especially if nobody arrives.

What Ruud van Nistelrooy said about Leicester City transfers
As already mentioned, Ruud wanted four players through the door this month and has only got one so far.
The Dutchman was obviously asked about more arrivals following the Foxes’ loss to Everton over the weekend.
But when Van Nistelrooy was speaking about Leicester transfers, he didn’t seem overly confident of much happening.
He said: “We have to wait and see….we’ll try until the last bit.”
