Whilst the majority of Leicester fans want Jon Rudkin sacked, some sections of the King Power Stadium are turning against Ruud van Nistelrooy.

There were calls for Van Nistelrooy to leave on social media and should a second relegation in the space of three seasons happen, Leicester could even go and appoint Richie Wellens if the Dutchman chose to leave.

Their next game sees them make the trip to East London to face West Ham United at the London Stadium on Thursday night.

Managed by Graham Potter, who turned Leicester down before taking the West Ham role, enjoyed an important win against Arsenal at the weekend and will hope to inflict more damage on Leicester’s survival hopes.

Leicester could make it four wins in a row against West Ham

It’s no surprise to see that Leicester fans are struggling to find any signs of a fightback, even when Gary Lineker has conceded defeat and said the Foxes would be relegated.

Trying to decide where the next win is going to come from is also proving to be hard work, however, Leicester’s recent form against their midweek opponents is a sign to be positive.

As per BBC Sport, Leicester have won their last three Premier League games against the Hammers and could make it four in a row should they claim three points at the London Stadium.

Those three wins are more than the Foxes managed in their previous 10 meetings against West Ham and whilst breaking records – at least for the right reasons – won’t be at the forefront of their minds on Thursday, adding to the tally will go a long way in the fight against relegation.

Leicester’s H2H record vs West Ham

Thursday’s game isn’t a novelty between the two teams as they have met many times before. In fact, it will be the 142nd competitive meeting between the two teams.

Sadly, the Foxes can’t count on a good omen on this front though, with West Ham coming out on top in more of the encounters.

It’s very close, however, with the Foxes winning 52 of the meetings and the remaining 34 ending in draws.

Either way, the game is guaranteed to provide entertainment – especially given Leicester’s struggles when it comes to keeping clean sheets.
