- Exclusive from Graeme Bailey
A huge update on who could be the Leicester City manager has been revealed.
The Foxes are on the lookout for a new manager after Leicester sacked Steve Cooper on Sunday.
Among the many names linked with the job are David Moyes and Carlos Corberan, however the two outstanding names are Ruud van Nistelrooy and Graham Potter.
Potter has come close to taking the Leicester job twice before and is a popular candidate among supporters.
Now, Leicester City News can exclusively reveal where Leicester are in their pursuit of Potter.

Graham Potter doesn’t want the Leicester job
Unfortunately for some Leicester fans they’re going to have to settle for a different name in the King Power Stadium dugout.
Transfer expert Graeme Bailey has exclusively revealed that Potter is out of the running and not interested in the job.
He told Leicester City News: “The Leicester hierarchy insist they do not have anyone lined up to replace Steve Cooper even though he had been under presure for some weeks and they had looked at other options.
“However, Potter was someone they wanted to talk to following Cooper’s exit but I am told as it stands he is not ready to make his return to management.”
Who will Leicester target next?
It seems now that the most likely candidate will be Van Nistelrooy.
After being contacted by the club, a further update claimed that Van Nistelrooy was yet to respond to the Foxes’ proposal.

The club reportedly want a new manager in by Saturday for their trip to Brentford but know that they would have to move very quickly to seal the deal.

Leicester have once again been linked with Corberan, who came very close to the job in the summer, only for the Foxes to be put off by his £4m compensation package.
Moyes is another contender but he allegedly has one eye on the Everton job.
