Premier League football returns this weekend as Leicester City look to get their first win of the season.

Steve Cooper’s side have been licking their wounds over the international break after picking up one point from a possible nine in the opening three games of the season.

The Foxes have a great opportunity to register their first win however when they make the trip to the capital.

12 players have been away on international duty and are all set to return to the Seagrave training ground centre throughout the rest of the week and late arrivals may impact any selection decisions that Cooper has to make.

Leicester City injury news

Jakub Stolarczyk and Patson Daka remain the only two players definitely ruled out through injury.

Danny Ward, who wasn’t named amongst the Leicester bench for the Aston Villa defeat featured for Wales over the international break and is likely to resume his role as back-up for Mads Hermansen.

Facundo Buonanotte could return to the starting XI after Cooper decided to drop him to the bench after the 19-year-old complained of a slight groin issue.

Buonanotte scored for the Foxes last time out and with other attacking options returning from internationals, could be brought back into the fold.

Conor Coady is now also available for selection once again after recovering from a hamstring injury and could make his first Premier League appearance of the season

Leicester City predicted starting XI vs Crystal Palace

Hermansen will be a guaranteed starter in between the sticks for the Foxes after impressing early on.

James Justin has struggled for form so far and could be replaced by Ricardo Pereira, who is yet to start a league game so far.

Wout Faes and Jannik Vestergaard both featured for Belgium and Denmark respectively over the international break while Caleb Okoli was an unused sub. Vestergaard was dropped in favour of Okoli last time out but could be restored. Victor Kristiansen will remain at left-back.

Oliver Skipp and Harry Winks impressed in the midfield pivot last time out and deserve to start together at Selhurst Park.

Wilfred Ndidi was underwhelming in the number 10 position and will likely vacate for Buonanotte. Abdul Fatwau will almost certainly keep his place on the right-hand side of the attacking trio while Stephy Mavididi could be in line for a first Premier League start as both Jordan Ayew and Bobby De-Cordova Reid both return late from international duty.

Deadline day loan signing Odsonne Edouard is ineligible to play against his parent club and will have to wait another week to make his Leicester debut, meaning that Jamie Vardy will lead the line once again.

Leicester City predicted XI to face Crystal Palace: Hermansen; Justin, Faes, Vestergaard, Kristiansen; Skipp, Winks; Fatwau, Buonanotte, Mavididi; Vardy
