Leicester City travel to Everton in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon in a relegation six-pointer.
The stakes couldn’t be higher when the Foxes head to Goodison Park as Leicester trail Everton by just a place and six points in the table.
Leicester were 2-1 victors over Tottenham last time out, with Ruud van Nistelrooy ending his seven-match losing streak in the league.
Van Nistelrooy will want to build on that positive momentum this weekend against a team they’ve had success with previously, avoiding defeat in five of their last six meetings.
Ahead of the Premier League showdown on Merseyside, the Leicester manager revealed some morale-boosting team news, providing an update on multiple players.

Leicester City team news ahead of Everton
It’s been a testing period for Van Nistelrooy as the Foxes have suffered numerous injuries to some of their first-team stars.
One of the most notable absentees has been Mads Hermansen, who last featured in the defeat against Newcastle United, going off with an injury in that fixture.
Van Nistelrooy confirmed that Hermansen will return this weekend, giving him a tough decision to make in goal as Jakub Stolarczyk was excellent against Spurs.
News of the giant Dane being back in contention wasn’t the only positive to emerge from Thursday’s press conference as midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is back in training while Ricardo Pereira has started individual training.
The fixture against Everton will perhaps come too soon for Ndidi but the Nigerian will be a crucial player in the fight for survival.

Leicester City predicted XI vs Everton – Mads Hermansen and Facundo Buonanotte start
There were several Leicester City heroes from the win over Tottenham and many will keep their place in the starting lineup at Everton.
Hermansen’s return is brilliant but given how Stolarczyk has performed, it’s hard to justify dropping him. However, the Danish international could be thrown straight back into the starting lineup here.
A back four of James Justin, Jannik Vestergaard, Wout Faes and Victor Kristiansen was instrumental at Spurs, and they should keep their place at Goodison Park.

Harry Winks and Boubakary Soumare have formed a solid duo in the engine room, with their presence in the lineup remaining.
There could however, be one change in their attack with Jordan Ayew dropping out for Facundo Buonanotte, who should start alongside Bobby Reid, Bilal El Khannouss and Jamie Vardy.
