Leicester City are facing the real possibility of a second relegation in three years.
Results have taken a turn for the worse after the Foxes were beaten by Fulham on Saturday to leave them two points adrift of safety and second from bottom in the Premier League.
John Rudkin was criticised by Leicester fans at the King Power Stadium and there were cries of “You don’t know what you’re doing” directed towards Ruud van Nistelrooy, who didn’t explain why he substituted Bilal El Khannouss.
Toxicity levels are rising and the club feels like it’s at boiling point both on and off the pitch and former Foxes striker Matty Fryatt was there on Saturday to see first hand and explain what the club are lacking right now.

Matty Fryatt names four things missing at Leicester right now
Fryatt was part of BBC Radio Leicester’s punditry team for the game at the weekend.
Like everyone else, the pundit was shocked at what he saw from the Foxes and noticed that Leicester were lacking in confidence and that the loss against Fulham felt “ominous” and that mood, confidence, morale and belief were all on the floor.
He said: “Leicester needed a minimum of three points, you don’t achieve that on Wednesday [against Crystal Palace] and that game was built up as if it was the biggest game in years – it didn’t materialise that way.
“This one had to be even bigger and then nothing from this – and it didn’t look likely after 10 minutes. Now you’ve gone from a minimum of three points to no points and mood, confidence, morale, belief has all of a sudden evaporated and it turned ugly.
“I don’t want to go on about the negatives but it felt ominous and it’s going to take a lot to change that and obviously the results and performances in both second halves of really important games weren’t there.”
Matty Fryatt reveals what Leicester need to turn season around
Plenty needs to be done to save Leicester’s season but it’s going to take a monumental effort from everyone to avoid Premier League relegation.
Leicester have signed one player this transfer window and it comes at a time when it’s obvious to see that reinforcements are exactly what the Foxes need.
As well as new additions, Fryatt added that that the club needs someone who can lead them through the ongoing struggles.
“We mention characters and leadership, this is where it has to come to the fore,” the former forward said. “It needed to start today, but next game has to be like that – you’re running out of games and now looking on others [dropping points] so early on.
“At some point you’ve got to win yourself.”
