Gary Lineker appears to be in agreement with Leicester City fans on what is proving to be a difficult issue for the club.
Leicester were beaten 3-0 by Wolves on Sunday in a game that saw two Foxes stars booed every time they took a touch.
They weren’t the only source of frustration as the club’s director of football, John Rudkin, was met with chants of ‘We want Rudkin out’.
Rudkin was in the stands to watch the game at the King Power Stadium as Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side suffered back-to-back defeats.
With only two points separating them from the bottom three, Leicester face one of the toughest Christmas schedules and could well end up in the bottom three.

Lineker is a boyhood Leicester fan and always wants to see his club doing well.
The Foxes legend hasn’t hidden away from the fact that all is not well in the East Midlands and whilst he believes the players can do better, more work is needed off the pitch to make things stable again.
Speaking on the Rest is Football Podcast, Lineker pointed out the boos for Rudkin and cited the summer 2022 transfer window, where a lack of communication from the board to then-manager Brendan Rodgers saw them make no signings and eventually get relegated.
He said: “There were chants of ‘Rudkin out’. He’s the director of football. I think most Leicester fans think he’s the problem. Leicester’s problems are as much off field. You can blame coaches and managers all you want, but if the club’s not being run well, then it’s very difficult.
“It’s a tough job for him (Ruud van Nistelrooy). I remember when Brendan Rodgers, a few years ago, after that really successful run, he said ‘we need a refresh’ and he wasn’t backed at that point, with Rudkin.
“Then they end up blaming Rodgers and that’s an elite coach we had there. Fans always turn on the coach first, but they’re not doing that this time. We’ll see what transpires.”

Alan Shearer provides honest verdict on strength of Leicester City squad
Alongside Lineker on the podcast was co-host Alan Shearer, who is still yet to change his mind on Leicester’s fortunes come the end of the season.
Shearer tipped the Foxes to go down and even though Steve Cooper was sacked and replaced by Van Nistelrooy, his verdict still hasn’t changed.
“I’ve not changed my mind from the day he (van Nistelrooy) was appointed even though they got a couple of decent results,” Shearer said.
“I was still of the opinion that it was a massive gamble for him to take on because I think there’s so much surgery they need there. I don’t think they’re a very good team at all.”
