Leicester City booked their place in the fourth round of the FA Cup in emphatic style with a thumping of Championship side Queens Park Rangers.
With Ruud van Nistelrooy’s men faltering in the Premier League, Leicester’s 6-2 win over QPR in the FA Cup will have offered some much-needed confidence heading into their clash with Crystal Palace.
Van Nistelrooy praised two of his Leicester stars, singling out attacking weapons Facundo Buonanotte and Bilal El Khannouss as the duo had a hand in multiple goals.
Buonanotte and El Khannouss have been bright sparks for the Foxes this term, often coming away from matches with plaudits when the rest of their side have suffered.
One player who has struggled this term is right-back James Justin, whose performances have faced criticism from many of the fanbase.
However, the 26-year-old put his previous troubles behind him as Justin scored twice against QPR, with the Englishman now noticing something bizarre following the match.

James Justin on ‘strange’ weather conditions in Leicester vs QPR
Justin experienced a rare highlight from this season after netting a brace against QPR.
Admittedly, it was at home to Championship opposition but Gary Lineker was pleased that Leicester went full strength and the difference in class certainly told.
That being said, the Foxes didn’t have it all their own way throughout the game, as the weather conditions did their best to knock them out of their stride.
Much like in Leicester’s 3-1 defeat at Liverpool, there was a lot of fog engulfing the King Power Stadium and Justin conceded he found it difficult to see the ball at times.
Describing the conditions as ‘strange’, the right-back told Leicester’s official website: “It was a bit strange.
“At Anfield we had a little bit similar, but this [fog] was a lot worse today, especially with the white ball. It was tough to see at times, but we got on with the job and it was the same for both teams.”
Justin will have competition at right back in the shape of Woyo Coulibaly
While Justin performed to a high standard on the weekend, he must carry on the momentum this year as Leicester are close to signing right-back Woyo Coulibaly.
The Frenchman will arrive from Parma this week, with Leicester agreeing a £3m transfer for Coulibaly, who will become van Nistelrooy’s first January signing.
The 25-year-old is being brought in to not only provide competition for Justin but also potentially replace him in defence.
It means Justin will have to cut out his error-filled performances completely and step up his consistency, otherwise, he could be soon fighting for his place.
