Day 13 of the transfer window has arrived and it looks as if Leicester City fans will have a new player to welcome, if reports are to be believed.

Leicester beat QPR in the FA Cup Third Round at the weekend to bring some smiles back to the faces of Foxes fans and now it appears they could have another boost coming their way.

Ruud van Nistelrooy has been coy about transfers but may reveal more soon as a first new signing looks to be edging closer to completion.

With that, here is all of the latest transfer gossip from Leicester City News.

Woyo Coulibaly looks like he will become the first Foxes signing of the Van Nistelrooy era in a cut-price deal estimated to be around £2.5m-3m.

Coulibaly wasn’t named in the Parma squad for their game against Genoa on Sunday, sparking speculation to suggest that the full-back could be heading to the King Power Stadium.

He can play on both sides of defence, making him a valuable option and is likely to provide some much-needed competition for James Justin, who has been criticised by Leicester fans this season.

Tom Cannon could leave permanently as Championship clubs plot transfer

Tom Cannon has been on fire on loan at Stoke City and has subsequently caught the eye of several Championship clubs.

Some Leicester fans think they should cash in on Cannon to fund moves for players elsewhere and four second tier sides have been named as holding interest in the Republic of Ireland international.

Sunderland, Sheffield United, Sheffield Wednesday and Luton Town are all rumoured to be the clubs keeping tabs on the 22-year-old and could spark a bidding war that lands the Foxes a profit on the £7.5m they paid for him back in 2022.
