Catch the latest Leicester City news today as the Foxes find out when the transfer window will open and close for Premier League clubs, as well as talk of a new manager in the summer.
Leicester City are still a while away from being back in action, but the news around the world doesn’t stop.
A new FA rule prevents games clashing with FA Cup quarter final weekend, meaning that the Foxes have to wait until Wednesday 2 April to face Manchester City.
This will at least give Ruud van Nistelrooy extra time to prepare and welcome back all of his stars from the international break, where some Leicester players impressed.
Premier League confirm 25/26 transfer window dates
As it stands, Leicester don’t know if they will be a Premier League or Championship club next season.
The latter seems more likely but in the unlikely event they do pull off a great escape – 10 years on from when they did last time – they will have one small tweak to the window.
A statement from the Premier League confirmed that the window would open briefly between 1 June – 10 June to allow for clubs competing in the Club World Cup to register new signings.
It will then open in mid June and close shortly after the start of the 25/26 season

Liam Rosenior could become new Leicester City manager
Van Nistelrooy may still be in charge of Leicester now, but the Dutchman has history of walking out of jobs in the past.
Should that be the case, the Foxes will be looking for a fourth permanent manager in two years and with promotion the main aim should Leicester drop to the second tier, they will be an attractive prospect.
According to reports in France, Liam Rosenior has been linked with the Foxes, who may face competition from Southampton to become the new manager.

Rosenior has impressed in France with Strasbourg and it will be interesting to see if Leicester could persuade the highly-rated boss back to England if the chance arised.
