Leicester City have made the huge call to part ways with Steve Cooper after just five months in charge.
Cooper was sacked by Leicester on Sunday just over 24 hours on from the Foxes’ 2-1 defeat against Chelsea.
The 44-year-old won four of his 15 games in charge, leaving him with a win percentage that makes Cooper one of the worst Leicester managers in recent history.
Cooper wasn’t overly popular with the fans during his brief tenure and it appears that there were also some players that didn’t take to his methods.

Steve Cooper involved in huge fall out with Jannik Vestergaard
Cooper experienced several problems at Leicester but one of the biggest issues was getting the players on his side.
Players reportedly found his training sessions too long and didn’t enjoy the lack of clarity when it came to being told how to set up.
His approach seemed to ruffle the feathers of members of the team with John Percy of the Telegraph revealing that Jannik Vestergaard had fallen out with Cooper.

Vestergaard, a regular in the Championship title winning season, started the season alongside Wout Faes before losing his spot due to injury.
The Denmark international was left out of the squad altogether for the Chelsea defeat, with Cooper citing it as tactical.
Their disagreement even led to Cooper allegedly banishing the defender from training. Harry Winks and Hamza Choudhury were also involved in arguments with the Welshman.

When will the new Leicester manager be in charge?
A new manager could be appointed in time for next weekend’s trip to Brentford and a whole host of names have been linked with the Foxes job.

Ruud van Nistelrooy has reportedly been approached by Leicester and the Premier League icon appears to be one of the favourites.
Graham Potter is also popular among the Leicester hierarchy after trying to appoint him in the summer and after sacking Brendan Rodgers.
Other outsiders, including Jose Mourinho, are likely to be linked with the vacant role, however, that may be a more unrealistic option.
If a new manager can’t be found in time for the Brentford fixture, then they will almost certainly be in place by the time the Foxes face West Ham.
