Leicester City face a busy day ahead of a crucial game on Thursday night.
The Foxes face West Ham United at the London Stadium with the pressure right on Ruud van Nistelrooy after fans wanted him sacked following the devastating loss against Brentford.
There isn’t much optimism from outsiders heading into the game as both Paul Merson and Chris Sutton predicted Leicester to lose.
Additionally, Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer have tipped the Foxes to go down following a barren run of form.
In today’s news, Van Nistelrooy has responded to fears over the sack and one former coach has landed a new job.
Ruud van Nistelrooy responds to sack claims

Van Nistelrooy may have started off his tenure with a win and a draw but since then it’s all gone downhill.
Last weekend’s defeat saw the Foxes make unwanted Premier League history by becoming the first top flight side to lose six home games in a row without conceding.
Stats like that are what get teams sacked and managers relegated but van Nistelrooy is confident he won’t be sacked and is committed to the Foxes in the long term.

Sacked Leicester coach appointed by Champions League club

Fresh changes to Leicester’s coaching staff occurred earlier this week after Ben Dawson and Danny Alcock were sacked by the Foxes.
Both were brought in by Steve Cooper at the start of the season, as did Steve Rands, who was appointed as a first-team coach.
