A coach sacked along with Steve Cooper by Leicester City has managed to land a new job at Borussia Dortmund.
Cooper was sacked by Leicester in November after a run of four wins from 15 games in all competitions.
The Welshman was replaced by Ruud van Nistelrooy, who has slowly began to add to the coaching staff himself.
After Jelle ten Rouwelaar and Brian Barry-Murphy were appointed shortly after Van Nistelrooy joined, the Dutchman decided to promote Andy King to the role of first-team coach.
On Monday, Leicester confirmed the departure of coaching duo Ben Dawson and Danny Alcock, both of whom were appointed by Cooper.
They stayed on slightly longer, but for one coach who was dismissed alongside Cooper, he now has a new role.

Borussia Dortmund hire former Leicester & Nottingham Forest Coach Steve Rands
In addition to Cooper, his assistant manager Alan Tate and first-team coach Steve Rands left their roles at the King Power Stadium.
Rands has now been appointed by Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund and has links to their current manager Niko Kovac, who appointed former Manchester City first-team analyst Aaron Briggs.
The former Foxes coach will also be working as a first-team coach analyst at Dortmund and confirmed the move on his LinkedIn.
He wrote: “Excited to share that I’ve joined Champions League and Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund! It’s an incredible opportunity to be part of a club with such a rich history, passionate fanbase, and commitment to excellence.
“Looking forward to contributing to the journey ahead and working alongside some of the best minds in the game. Let’s get to work!”

Ruud van Nistelrooy reveals if he will bring any more coaches in to Leicester
Van Nistelrooy has previously stated that he had no plans to change his coaching staff – all the way back in December.
Since then, Barry-Murphy joined from Manchester City and then King received his well-deserved promotion.
Now that Dawson and Alcock have left the club, there are spaces to bring in new faces, but, with 12 games of the season remaining, it feels like there won’t be any wholesale changes – especially with relegation still looking likely.
