There’s just a week to go until the transfer window slams shut for good and Leicester City need to get a move on.
One player has joined Leicester so far despite Ruud van Nistelrooy identifying four positions he wanted improving when he joined in November.
A number of names have been linked including £15m target Strahinja Pavlovic but the Foxes are facing a race against time to get all the targets they want in time before the deadline on Monday 3 February.
Van Nistelrooy has reportedly threatened to quit if Leicester don’t step up their activity in the market and it seems they’re looking to press forward and have one former Champions League winner in mind.

Leicester City could sign Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
A centre-back, left winger and forward remain on Leicester’s transfer shopping list as they work hard behind the scenes to give their manager the tools he needs to secure Premier League survival.
Experience of the top flight could be crucial and according to The Sun, Leicester are targeting former Liverpool star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Currently playing for Besiktas in Turkey, the Champions League winner has become frustrated with his lack of game time after playing six times, scoring one goal.
The Foxes and Wolves are among the two clubs interested despite claims that new Besiktas boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to give him a chance.
Oxlade-Chamberlain made 146 appearances during a six-year spell with Liverpool, winning the Premier League and Champions League in that time.
Leicester City limited with what they can do in transfer market
Every club’s fanbase wants to see their side spend money but in some cases, as with Leicester, that’s not always possible.
The ongoing PSR fears at Leicester mean that the East Midlands outfit have to be cautious on what they spend.
Reports earlier this month claimed that Leicester would only be able to do loan deals in this window, restricting them from certain targets and shining a light on the financial troubles ongoing at the club.
