Leicester City need to get a shift on to fulfil Ruud van Nistelrooy’s ambitions in the January transfer window.
Van Nistelrooy wanted to improve four positions, with Leicester targeting a right-back, left-sided centre-back, winger and centre-forward.
So far, Woyo Coulibaly’s £3m switch from Parma is the only signing the Foxes have made, with the Frenchman set to provide competition for James Justin.
But there has been little activity in the window following Coulibaly’s switch to the King Power Stadium, and what Leicester now plan on doing will anger Van Nistelrooy.

Leicester City only targeting loan players from abroad
Leicester only made a managerial switch in November but there are already fears Van Nistelrooy could quit if he doesn’t make the number of signings he desires.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |

City are currently just outside the Premier League relegation zone by a point and need reinforcements across multiple positions to survive this term.
Sadly, an update from Sky Sports reporter Lyall Thomas suggests limited money could be spent in the final five days, with Leicester set to target just loans from abroad.
With Van Nistelrooy desperate for some quality permanent additions, only signing loans could be detrimental in the long term as the Dutchman needs significant improvements to his starting lineup.
A solid centre-back is needed as competition for their current quartet, especially with Caleb Okoli’s desire to leave, and extra firepower is required in attack.
Unfortunately, signing just loan players limits Leicester to who they can bring in, potentially damaging their chances of remaining in the Premier League.
What Leicester’s rivals are doing in the window
Frustrations have reached a boiling point in the transfer window, as most fans are annoyed that only one player has been brought in.
Luckily for Leicester, they aren’t the only club who have done limited business so far, with relegation rivals Wolves only capturing centre-back Emmanuel Agbadou from Reims.
In many ways, there are parallels between both clubs, as Wolves are also reluctant to spend money and instead would prefer to save money with loan signings.
That being said, Ipswich are the other side battling for survival and they’ve completed some savvy business, luring Jaden Philogene from Aston Villa while completing the loan signings of Brighton’s Julio Enciso and Atalanta’s Ben Godfrey.
The Tractor Boys are showing ambition to preserve their top-flight status, whereas Leicester and Wolves are faltering at the most crucial time.
