Leicester’s meeting with Tottenham Hotspur is yet another must-win game for Ruud van Nistelrooy.
The Foxes have suffered seven consecutive defeats in the Premier League – leaving their survival chances hanging by a thread.
Time is running out for Van Nistelrooy’s side and three points against Tottenham could be massive in terms of avoiding relegation.
Spurs themselves have struggled recently, languishing in the bottom half of the table under Ange Postecoglou.

Despite their struggles, Tottenham have a number of players who dent Leicester’s hopes of three points – one of those being former Foxes midfielder James Maddison.
There will however be no reunion for the ex-Leicester man however, after it was confirmed he would miss the game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Tottenham’s James Maddison set to miss Leicester reunion
Maddison was tipped to start against Leicester but Ange Postecoglou confirmed the midfielder would miss the game due to fact he was still feeling the effects of Tottenham’s Europa League clash with Hoffenheim.
Postecoglou said: “He’s still a bit sore from the other night. It took a fair bit out of the group and he just wasn’t 100% so he misses out today. No no [nothing too serious]. We hope not. Hopefully should be alright for next week,” via Football.London.
Tottenham announced three injuries ahead of the Foxes clash but they have since been boosted by the return of Pape Matar Sarr who was originally a doubt for the game.
Leicester vs Tottenham team news
In terms of Leicester’s line-up, there haven’t been any major changes – the only change being Bobby De-Cordova Reid coming for Stephy Mavididi.
A choice seemingly based upon experience, De-Cordova Reid’s selection means Leicester’s frontline has a combined age of 102.
Many Foxes fans would have been hoping to see new signing Woyo Coulibably, the Frenchman however starts on the bench.
Tottenham’s weaknesses have been highlighted, whether Leicester can take advantage of them with that line-up is another question entirely.
