Steve Cooper made a lot of mistakes during his brief time as Leicester City manager.
Leicester City appointed Steve Cooper as manager on June 20th, 2024, replacing Enzo Maresca after he left for Chelsea.
Less than six months on from his arrival at the King Power Stadium, the 46-year-old is now out of work.
Leicester sacked Cooper on Sunday after he picked up just two wins in 11 Premier League fixtures, leaving the club one point adrift of the relegation zone.

Lewis Brunt excelling at Wrexham after leaving Leicester City
While Cooper had many issues during the proper 2024/25 season, it appears one of his first big mistakes came just a couple of weeks into his time at the club.
Lewis Brunt joined Leicester from Aston Villa on a free transfer during the summer of 2021.
The now 24-year-old made 45 appearances for the Foxes’ U21 side but just four at senior level.
He was then sold to Wrexham for an undisclosed fee on July 2nd, 2024, and has been in immense form for the Welsh side out late.
Brunt has started the club’s last two league games, including their 1-0 win over Lincoln City on Tuesday.
After that match, Wrexham legend Andy Morrell took to social media to dub the centre-back ‘exceptional’.
