FA Cup weekend has given Leicester fans a much needed break from their losing run.

Leicester’s fourth round exit against Manchester United, meant Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side had a weekend off ahead of their return against Chelsea on March 9th.

Although there hasn’t been any action to report on, there has been some news floating around the King Power Stadium.

With that being said, here is all the latest Leicester news you need to know ahead of this week.

Leicester fans haven’t had much to write home about this campaign, but the development of loanee Will Alves has been a positive in recent weeks.

Alves has impressed at Cardiff City since joining on Deadline Day, providing one assist in four appearances.

His bright start has suffered a small blip, however, after Alves picked up an injury against Plymouth – something which would have no doubt worried Leicester given the youngster’s past ACL injury in 2022.

Those fears of a major injury though have since been put to bed after Cardiff boss Omar Riza confirmed Will Alves could return against Burnley.

Despite the stats suggesting Leicester will be relegated come the end of the season, the Foxes may have actually been handed a small lifeline from one of their relegation rivals.

Matheus Cunha’s red card against Bournemouth means he will likely miss the next three games – something which will no doubt put a dent in Wolves’ chances.

With huge games against Everton and Southampton up next, Vitor Pereira’s side could drop points in the coming weeks – whether Leicester will be able to take advantage of that is another question entirely.
