Ipswich set to beat Leicester to Ben Godfrey
Unfortunately, Leicester’s latest transfer news and rumours doesn’t get off to the best start as they look set to miss out on another defensive signing.
Reports have claimed that Ben Godfrey is set to complete a loan move to Ipswich Town until the end of the season after being told that he could leave Atalanta.
Godfrey was linked with Leicester towards the end of 2024 but now seems destined to join the Foxes’ relegation rivals.

Leicester facing competition from Man City for Abdukodir Khusanov
Leicester have been linked with Abdukodir Khusanov for some time now but as well as several other Premier League sides, Manchester City have now joined the race for his signature.
Khusanov is one of the leading defenders in Ligue 1 despite joining for £100k less than 18 months ago.
The centre-back is being identified by Pep Guardiola as someone that can help turn their season around but it remains to be seen if the Uzbekistan international would prefer to continue his develop at Lens, move to a club like Leicester or go for the big risk early on.

Cesare Casadei set to turn Leicester down in favour of Serie A return
Returns for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Harry Maguire had already been mooted for Leicester this January but to many people’s surprise, Cesare Casadei was also linked.
Casadei has had less than 500 minutes of game time for Chelsea this season and reports have suggested the former Leicester loanee is set to join Torino in Italy.
The midfielder spent the first half of last season on loan at the Foxes before being recalled by Chelsea, where he has hardly featured since.
