It’s just a matter of time before Leicester City announce their first signing of the January transfer window.

The Foxes haven’t made a signing so far but are working hard to close some deals and it seems that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Profit and sustainability fears have played a part but after the Foxes discovered they won’t be charged for PSR this term, there is a sense of relief.

Not everybody is happy however, with Simon Jordan saying he wants Leicester relegated following the PSR verdict.

Now that Leicester fans have celebrated avoiding a Premier League charge, full attention can turn towards improving Ruud van Nistelrooy’s squad.

So, with that, here is every rumour on day 15 of the January transfer window, brought to you by Leicester City News.

It’s the worst kept secret in the world, but, Woyo Coulibaly is very close to joining the Foxes.

Reports on Tuesday revealed that the French full-back arrived in England for his medical and Coulibaly is now one step away from joining Leicester.

It’s very likely we could see an announcement today although the chances of him featuring in tonight’s game against Crystal Palace are not as likely and this weekend’s game against Fulham may be the first chance for fans to see him.

A centre-back appears to be on Leicester’s radar this winter and Valentin Gomez is a defender who fits the bill.

Gomez was linked with Leicester back in December but looked set to put his European dream on pause for a move elsewhere.

Cruzeiro of Brazil were set to sign Gomez until talks collapsed and now the Foxes are believed to be rivalling Bologna of Italy and two other sides for his signature.

Ruud van Nistelrooy’s arrival has had a positive impact on most at Leicester City, but not for Caleb Okoli.

The centre-back has had just 80 minutes of gametime since the 48-year-old was appointed and has been linked with a return to his native Italy a little over six months after signing from Atalanta.

Okoli was left ‘speechless’ by Leicester’s facilities when he first joined but may be waving goodbye to them already as Parma have made him their number one priority this window.

Parma’s manager has worked with Okoli previously and the defender, who was called up to Italy’s national team squad earlier this year, could be tempted to reunite.
