Leicester City may be bringing in a player this transfer deadline day after all following rumours of a surprise swap deal.
Rob Tanner revealed Leicester signings would be unlikely today and whilst the likes of Loum Tchaouna have been linked to the Foxes, nothing else has really materialsied.
Will Alves has joined Cardiff City on loan and it seemed that would be all the business done for the day.
But, in a surprise turn of events, the Foxes could have a new signing after all, with one of their own heading the other way.
Leicester City in talks with Wolves over Craig Dawson and Conor Coady swap deal
A defender is on the list for Leicester to improve this summer and several big names have been linked, including Strahinja Pavlovic.
However, in surprise news, John Percy of The Telegraph has revealed that Leicester are in talks with Wolves to arrange a swap deal between Craig Dawson and Conor Coady.

Dawson has fallen out of favour under Wolves boss Vitor Pereira whilst Coady has also been dropped from the Foxes starting XI after a run of games under Ruud van Nistelrooy.
Discussions aren’t at an advanced stage and it’s unclear if there would be any transfer fee involved in a straight swap.
Conor Coady could help save Leicester thousands per week
Coady may well be a leader in terms of experience on and off the pitch, but his £8m move from Wolves hasn’t been a major success.
The former England international has never really broken into the Leicester side, watching from afar on the bench for the majority of both campaigns.
With PSR risks still hanging over Leicester, Coady will be seen as someone who can help balance the books.
According to Capology, Coady is earning £75,000-a-week and with the Foxes looking to cut costs wherever they can, getting Coady out the door and getting Dawson in on a lower salary would fit that box.
