It’s been a depressing period for Leicester City supporters with very little shout-about, aside from seeing their first signing of the January window confirmed.
Leicester announced the arrival of Woyo Coulibaly from Parma moments before their clash against Crystal Palace on Wednesday night.
The powerful right-back watched on, though, as Leicester fell to a 2-0 defeat against Palace, resulting in boos from the Foxes faithful.
Fans now feel Leicester will be relegated this season, and that was the resounding verdict at full-time after losing for a sixth game in a row.
Now, ahead of their clash against Fulham on Saturday, Ruud van Nistelrooy’s men must pick themselves off the canvas and deliver a much-improved performance and result.
Leicester City team and injury news ahead of Fulham
The one positive heading into the game is that Coulibaly could make his debut against Fulham, with the 25-year-old being made available.
Van Nistelrooy has already praised Coulibaly following his arrival, handing supporters multiple reasons why he’s perfectly suited to the Premier League.
In terms of injury news, the Leicester manager didn’t pick up any fresh concerns on Wednesday, with only a few of his first-team stars out of action.
First-choice goalkeeper Mads Hermansen is still out but Van Nistelrooy is hopeful of his return soon, providing an update in his press conference.
“We don’t have a date yet,” van Nistelrooy said via Leicestershire Live. “It’s a work in progress on his rehab. He’s making small steps in the right direction at the moment. Hopefully some time next week, there can be an update on when he can be back.”
Wilfred Ndidi (hamstring), Ricardo Pereira (hamstring) and Abdul Fatawu (knee) remain the only long-term absentees.

Although Leicester are on a run of seven matches without a win, losing six in a row, only a few changes could be expected from the side that were beaten by Palace.
Jannik Vestergaard was shocking in defence in midweek, though he will perhaps keep his place in the lineup alongside Wout Faes.
Fans booed the decision to take off Facundo Buonanotte when they were losing 1-0 against Crystal Palace, with the Argentine keeping his place on the right.
However, the most controversial change he could make is dropping Jamie Vardy for Patson Daka. Vardy was wasteful on Wednesday night, failing to score with six shots, missing two big chances and making 43 touches.
Van Nistelrooy wanted Daka at PSV, and the Dutchman could use Vardy’s recent barren run as an excuse to try out the £23m star and rest the 38-year-old.
