Day nine of the transfer window is here as Leicester City fans eagerly await their first signing of the window.

The Foxes have made some great January signings in the past but, with money tight, they may have to rethink their strategy.

Leicester could target players out of contract at the end of the season while Ruud van Nistelrooy could use his PSV contacts to look for reinforcements that he knows will suit his style of play.

Even though we’re not halfway through the window, there is still a sense of anxiety at the lack of business being done at the King Power Stadium.

Still, the links role on and the Foxes are still seemingly in the hunt for new players,

So, with that, here is a roundup of the latest Leicester transfer news and rumours.

Jakub Moder has been of interest to Leicester for some time and the Poland international is reportedly back on the radar.

It was claimed that Leicester agreed to swap Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall for Moder back in the summer but that never came to fruition, as Dewsbury-Hall instead joined Chelsea for £30m.

Moder has only played two games in the Premier League this season for the Seagulls and the midfielder could be available on the cheap as his contract expires in June 2025.

Van Nistelrooy could use his Manchester United links to bring in new players to the club and one young talent he supposedly has his eyes on is Toby Collyer.

Various reports have suggested that the Leicester boss is a huge fan and the young midfielder could be a loan option for the Foxes.

Reports in Manchester have revealed that Collyer is willing to go on loan and would be open to a move to a Championship side.

This suggests that Leicester could be considered a step too high for the 19-year-old for now and given the healthy number of midfielders already at the club, Collyer may prefer to go somewhere where he is guaranteed game time.

Emmanuel Latte Lath has been on Leicester’s radar and it seems as if they will be facing extra competition.

West Ham United are said to be another club interested in the Middlesbrough and now reports have suggested that Leeds United are in the hunt too.

Leeds are desperate to get promoted back to the Premier League and see Latte Lath as the perfect candidate to provide with them with the firepower required to take them back to the top flight.

It’s believed that anywhere between £15-£20m could be enough to get the deal done.
