Leicester City’s transfer window has been as successful as their recent form of late.

The Foxes have only signed one player this month and despite seemingly being linked to every player out there, have had no joy.

Ruud van Nistelrooy seems resigned to nobody else coming in before the deadline on Monday 3 February which in turn could anger supporters.

Some Leicester fans even think Van Nistelrooy could resign after the transfer window if they are unable to bring any more new faces in.

It’s not without trying and the Foxes have been linked with a number of players, but once again, a stumbling block has been reached.

Leicester transfer news: Bundesliga star turns down Foxes move

Loans seem to be what Leicester are looking for but every now and then, a permanent deal appears to be in the pipeline.

The Bundesliga is a market that Leicester also seem keen on and have been interested in Wolfsburg’s Patrick Wimmer.

They face competition from AC Milan from his signature whilst Van Nistelrooy also allegedly has his sights on Marius Bulter.

According to Florian Pettenberg, Leicester made an enquiry for the 31-year-old, who has four goals and two assists this season.

Despite that, there doesn’t seem to be much hope of a deal happening with Bulter keen to remain at Hoffenheim.

Leicester fans make transfer feelings clear with John Rudkin chant

To add to their woes off the pitch, there are plenty more on it for Leicester.

After an impressive win against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend it went back to the more familiar feeling of defeat as Everton hammered Leicester 4-0.

Fan disgruntlement grew minute-by-minute and the atmosphere soon became toxic as the travelling supporters chanted for the board to go.

John Rudkin was also called out on social media, with supporters highlighting the failure to get a centre-back in.

With just over 24 hours to go until deadline day is over, a big improvement is needed.
