Leicester City look set to miss out on another transfer target again this window.

It’s been a frustrating month so far, with Leicester signing one player this transfer window.

Woyo Coulibaly joined the Foxes last week but is yet to make his debut and since then, things have gone quiet.

Leicester have been linked with Andre Silva on loan, but it seems that one of there other targets is destined for an adventure elsewhere and that it’ll have to be back to the drawing board for Ruud van Nistelrooy and co.

Brighton transfer news: Jakub Moder set to complete £1.2m Feyenoord move

Jakub Moder was linked with Leicester earlier in the transfer window after finding game time at Brighton & Hove Albion limited.

Moder was dubbed as ‘amazing’ by former Poland and Leicester boss Paulo Sosa was made available for transfer this month.

There had been suggestions that Everton and Leicester were the two clubs vying for his signature but The Athletic’s David Ornstein dropped a bombshell to confirm that Feyenoord is where he would be heading.

Feyenoord have reportedly agreed a fee of £1.2m and the 25-year-old will join on a three-and-a-half year deal.

Leicester City looking to wheel and deal in transfer window

Progress in the transfer window has been slow for Leicester and given the ongoing fears over PSR, it is likely to stay this window.

Earlier this month it was reported that the Foxes would be looking at low-budget options the the £3m acquisition of Coulibaly proving that.

It seems that Moder would’ve also been an affordable signing with reports of £2-£3m being mentioned.

Loan signings also seem the more plausible option right now but with less than half of the window remaining, it seems that the 3 February is creeping up quickly with not a lot done.
