Day 10 of the transfer window is here and Leicester City are still in the hunt for a first signing this window.
Money is tight for Ruud van Nistelrooy and recent reports revealed that Leicester will be targeting budget option full-backs this month.
Van Nistelrooy has insisted the Foxes will sign players but there are doubts as to whether or not that will happen as Leicester fans await to hear if there will be a points deduction due to a breach of profit and sustainability rules.
Plenty has still gone on in the transfer world and as one star has been offered to the Foxes, another transfer target appears to be on the move overseas.
With that, here is a roundup of all of the latest Leicester City transfer news.
Newcastle offer Miguel Almiron to Leicester

Leicester have reportedly been presented with the opportunity to sign Miguel Almiron this winter.
Almiron is out of favour at Newcastle and has started just three times for the Magpies this season.
With Abdul Fatawu out for the remainder of the season, the Paraguay international could be the perfect replacement.
Newcastle want a hefty fee, however, and are said to be demanding £17m for his services. It remains to be seen if Leicester will pull the trigger, but his Premier League experience could come in handy.

Hiroki Sekine’s club confirm overseas move

Leicester have been linked with Hiroki Sekine since December, with little known about the right-back before the rumours first emerged.
It had gone quiet on the links between Sekine and the Foxes in recent weeks until his current club, Kashiwa Reysol released a statement on Thursday to confirm that the 22-year-old would be leaving to joining a team overseas.
There’s been no confirmation of where he is going, but it could mean a move to Leicester may be on the cards.
Man United watch Mads Hermansen

Nobody wants to lose their best players but due to the ongoing profit and sustainability fears, a key player may have to leave.
Mads Hermansen has been Leicester’s best player this season and has caught the eye of clubs around Europe.
Manchester United have been to watch Hermansen earlier this season and could reportedly be available for £40m, although due to his current injury, a move would be more likely to happen this summer.

Victor Lindelof isn’t interested in Leicester move

Several centre-backs have been linked with the Foxes in the past few months despite the plethora of options the club already have.
Victor Lindelof is a name that has been mentioned around the Foxes in recent months but, as confirmed from Fabrizio Romano, the Swedish defender isn’t keen on a move to the King Power Stadium.
Even still, his wages would’ve likely been a stumbling block and a transfer for Lindelof would’ve been a huge surprise.
